The impeller has new vane passage with excellent nyhrafihc characteristics and it has been balanced static. Minimal axial thrust clue to double- entry impeller. Smooth, quiet running is also guaranteed by a large impeller eve area and smooth, low loss running due to a swirl-free inlet. Also with wear rings, if requested.
To horizontal pump: shaft is provided with two bearings mounted in the bearing housings at both ends. Covered, sealed for life grease lubricated antifriction bearing for a long service life. It also can be optional oil lubrication with constant level oiler. The fixed bearing at the internal bearing end is located on a bush to permit rapid changing without removing the rotor or upper half.
To vertical installation: top bearing: grease lubricated deep groove ball bearing, sealed for life; bottom bearing: wear resistant, medium lubricated plain bearing of silicon carbide (Residur - bearing).
The shaft completely sealed and dry for zero corrosion, short and rigid with negligible vibrations. Replaceable shaft protecting sleeves are fitted in the searl area. The screw thread is not exposed to pumped medium, long operating life and no corrosion. Quick and easy assembly dismantling of the rotor components due to elastically prestressed mountings.
The close running fit between the pump casing wearing rings and the impeller minimizes the leakage of water back into the suction part. The rings protect the casting from wearing and can be promptly replaced with the spare parts when they have been worn out.
The shaft seal has two type: stuffing seals and mechanical sea, Is. The packing must be properly pressed ,by adjusting the gland. Open gland, i. e. enough space for service activities.
